<a class="wiki" href="Sony" rel="">Sony</a> was such a big company, it could afford to "take risks" with its boombox designs. They tended to "go their own way" instead of copying someone else. Like this CFS-77 for example. Check out the tweeters hanging on chrome stilts inside the woofers. Awesome. And look at how low and lean the whole box is. Most of the controls are on top, so they could keep the whole design low. From the front, it looks like it's all speaker. This is one boombox that you didn't have to worry about it falling over, like all the tall boomboxes would.
