The TA-10 is a very rare boombox that was sold by General Electric in the year 1985. The photos below were taken from an Ebay auction. It is the ONLY time I've seen this model on the web. It appears to have wood-walled speakers and a substantial power consumption rating (80 watts). Also, it is AC only. It does not accept batteries. You can also see that the CD player is a separate component that can be detached from the amp/tuner section.

Full retail price was $600 in 1985. Some catalogs refer to this model as the G.E. 3-7010 instead of TA-10.
