The Emerson CTR-965 is a 21-inch long boombox from the late 1980's. This was a time when square woofers were considered fashionable. But this Emerson has conventional round 4" speakers, covered by square pieces of foam.

It only weighs 11 lbs, so you know the build quality isn't very high. It has four 4" speakers (covered by foam and two pizeo tweeters. It sounds fairly good at low volumes, but it can't tolerate much bass before distortion sets in. In fact the service manual says its power output is only 2x3W.
