The C9 is a larger, more powerful version of the Sanyo C7. It has detachable speakers and 3 separate components (the C9T tuner, the C9D tape deck & amplifier, and the C9P power supply unit). Each of these components is 215mm wide. With the speakers attached, the system measures 597mm wide, 307mm tall, and 232mm deep. According to the service manual, power output is 2x30W "maximum music power". The tape deck has a frequency response of 30 to 14,000 Hz with Normal tape, and 30 to 17,000 Hz with Metal tape, which is quite good for a boombox. The ported, 2-way speakers are 6 Ohm, 30W max, with 16cm woofers and 4cm tweeters. It has Phono/Line In, and Line Out.
