This was JVC's top model for 1990. It consisted of the following components: The center unit (PC-RX1000), two speakers (PC-BX1000), and the remote control (RM-RP1000). It's questionable to call it a boombox, because it doesn't run on battereis. It's AC only. And no wonder, because it's heavy as hell....over 40 lbs!!

It has a 6-disc changer, 2 tape decks, and a subwoofer mounted behind those decks. This subwoofer is called "3D Hyper-Bass". There is also an EQ surround type of system called "Live Effex".

The B model was sold in the UK, and the E model was sold in continental Europe.
