The TDK 2-Speaker Boombox (model TP6802) was introduced in late 2010 with a price of $399, and offers very nice sound and build quality. It has 5.5 inch carbon fiber speakers with rubber surrounds, and 1.5" tweeters which are mounted coaxially. There is a bass port on the back. Power output is described as 2x10W, but it sounds as good better than many models claiming to put out 10 times as much. The bass really does hit hard. I tested it along with TDK's larger 3-speaker boombox, and I actually preferred this one.

Music sources include USB, iPod port, Line In, and FM radio. It doesn't have bluetooth. That was added a couple years later, but by then TDK had totally redesigned these models, and they didn't sound as good.
