The M9818 was a 3-piece ghettoblaster from Sanyo. It measures 474 x 282 x 115 mm. Oddly, it's a 7.5 volt model, so it takes only 5 D-cell batteries. The service manual says power ouput is only 2 watts max. Whether that means total or per channel is anyone's guess, but this clearly isn't one of Sanyo's better models. Frequency response is quoted at 80 to 10,000 Hz, which is poor even for a boombox. Each of the speaker boxes contains a woofer, a tweeter, and a passive radiator. And the center unit supposedly has its own woofer and tweeter (but I've never owned this model so I can't say for sure).
