Page changes

The BIG-500K is a very rare boombox from <a class="wiki" href="Sanyo" rel="">Sanyo</a>. It's got 4 speakers, a tape deck, Line In, and a 4-band tuner with fine tuning. A Google search doesn't reveal any others that look like mine (silver with white speakers). Google only shows dark gray ones with black speakers, located in Russia and Belarus. So it was obviously a limited distribution model. I'm not sure when it was built, but judging from its styling, I'm guessing somewhere between 1995-2005. The "Bassxpander" feature is somewhat misleading, because it's just the first band of the 5-band EQ. There is also a "Surround" button that only sounds good with certain types of music.
