The Marantz PMS-7000 is a HUGE boombox. So huge that I've never purchased one, for fear that it would be damaged during shipping. But I still want one!! It's 31 inches long, 12.5 inches tall, and 6 inches deep. It's got 8-inch woofers and a beautiful gold finish on its metal faceplate. The tuner dial is lighted, and the tuner knob is nicely weighted.

The amps are actually located inside the speaker boxes. There is one Panasonic AN7154 amp chip in each box. Each of them is capable of providing 5.5 watts of power, according to Panasonic.
