The SP-500BT is a bazooka-shaped boombox from Dolphin Audio. It was introduced in 2017. It measures 19" long, 9-5/8" tall, and 8-5/8" deep.

The unit we obtained for review seemed to possess a couple flaws. First, while the FM tuner did seek and store a few stations, none of them produced anything other than static. Secondly, while the remote control was able to turn the unit off, it was not able to turn it on. Thirdly, it did not store the last volume setting, so every time we turned it on it would be too loud.

No bass and treble or EQ
No foldering support, but that's typical for this price point
FM seeked and saved but could not pick up any stations.
Subs not sure if they're active or what, and they don't do anything until it's loud
Lights on sides don't go to the music, the pattern is fixed.
Weight what? It's only 9.5 lbs according to our scale.
19" long, 8-5/8 diameter
Nice Engrish on the box
1000 watts right, 60W consumption, and even that is doubtful
Remote powers off but not on
Volume too loud when turned on
No radio
