For an egg, this model is actually quite attractive, at least from a frontal view. There are 4 speakers staring straight at you, along with what looks like a bass port.

Turn it around, however, and it looks like a rice cooker. neutral

It measures 465mm wide, and weighs 4.1kg without batteries. It takes eight C-cell batteries. It features a tape player, a CD player, and 4 speakers (100mm woofers, 36mm tweeters), and is rated for 4.5 watts per channel into 3.2 ohms at 10% THD. There is a lower-priced version called the CSD-FD88 which has 2.5 watts per channel into 7 ohms at 10% THD.
