Wiki Description and Review for Uher Mini-Port ghettoblaster from 1981.

Uher Mini-Port

The Uher Mini-Port was introduced in 1981. It's similar to the Telefunken CC-9000 and the Universum HiFi 1000. It's a serious heavy-hitter, with 2x18 watts RMS at 1% THD. That's very good power for a ghettoblaster. Actually it's not really a ghettoblaster, because it does not have a battery compartment. It is mains only (220 volts).

It was available in silver or black. And Uher changed the speaker design midway through the production cycle. You can see in these photographs how the speakers are different.
