Tisonic PR-6000 boombox wiki page........... is a very rare model similar to the Clairtone 7979 ghettoblaster, description and pictures.

Tisonic PR-6000

Tisonic PR-6000 Boombox. This appears to be a redo of the (comparably) more common Clairtone 7979 Boombox with a different features. The color is a striking gold/champagne color as opposed to the silver/black/gray color combination for the Clairtone version. Interestingly while the unusual color is certainly elegant looking and suggests a higher or more exclusive model and prestige, however the Clairtone seems to have a far more robust featureset. We cannot comment on performance of the Tisonic as this model is so rare that we have never seen one in real life, nor had the pleasure to test. However, we have tested several examples of the Clairtone version and we surmise that the internal circuitry would likely be similar and therefore, likely similar sound as the Clairtone version. It is fairly large being approximately the same size as the very highly regarded JVC RC-M90 Boombox. It features 8" woofers and to our ears, not quite as powerful as the RC-M90. It does, however produce excellent quality sound, is quite powerful and has good dynamic range without the terrible distortion produced by a few other highly regarded boomboxes (such as the Conion C-100). In this author's opinion, the sound quality can be considered above average as far as boomboxes go. The Clairtone version itself is considered quite rare. This version is far more rare.
