Sanyo M7740
The M7740 was a small "mini" boombox from Sanyo. It measures 449mm long, and I believe it was introduced in 1983. It was available in 6 different colors, including silver, white, black, red, pink, or blue. There was also a "K" model (M7740K) which has shortwave bands on the tuner. Sanyo's AMSS system (Automatic Music Select System) allows you to skip tracks on your tape. This boombox has a total of 6 speakers, including four 9.2cm speakers and two tiny little piezo tweeters. The speakers on top have less volume & bass than the ones on the front. Power is supplied by 6 C-cell batteries. According to the service manual, its power output is 2x4 watts max.
