The Sharp GF-9090 ghettoblaster was introduced way back in 1976. It has a beautiful metal top plate around the controls.

Sharp GF-9090

The GF-9090 was introduced in 1976. Its styling is very conservative, but it's still popular among collectors for its good quality and sound. It has old-school analog VU meters, dual antennas, and APSS (Automatic Program Search System). It was available in both silver and dark gray. There were also two different types of grills, depending which year it was produced. The output power is 2x3.5 watts Sinus (RMS).
