Poppy RR-550
This ghettoblaster was made in Hong Kong or Taiwan in the early 1980s, and imported into Germany by Transonic Intermarket. There were other versions called the Condor 7090 and the Topmaster 2065. At only 45cm wide, it's not very big. And it only has 12cm woofers and 4cm tweeters. But it's still cool because of its big LEDs and removable tuner glass. It's powered by a pair of Hitachi TBA810SH amplifier chips, which results in approximately 4 watts per channel @ 10% THD and 12 volts. To play MP3s, you can connect your phone to the DIN input or the Mic inputs, but you will need to press Record/Play on the tape deck. The example shown below has a custom LED light added to the signal meter.
