This is a unique boombox made by Pioneer in 1983, with vertical sliders and a cool green tuner light.

Pioneer SK-550

The SK-550 was introduced in 1983 by Pioneer. It measures 590 x 274 x 138 mm. It has a rather unconventional style compared to other boomboxes. But that's typical for Pioneer - they followed their own path. It has 4 speakers, a nice lighted tuner, Dolby, and an LED meter. It also has both Line In and Line Out. The tape deck is claimed to possess a frequency response of 30 to 16,000 Hz when using Metal tape, which, if true, is actually quite good for a boombox.
