This is the 3-5265 boombox from General Electric. It's somewhere between a mini and a midsize.

GE 3-5265A

This is the 3-5265A, nicknamed Home 'n Go. It was selling for $120-150 in the year 1981. Some people might call it a "mini" boombox, but it's actually bigger than that. It weighs a decent 9.6 lbs, and that's without the eight D-cell batteries. And it puts out more bass than the vast majority of minis do. It has 5-inch woofers and piezo tweeters. It has Line In, Line Out, and Phono. It also has an LED tuner needle, something that should have been standard on every boombox.
