A very unique boombox from the early 80s that looks like it was designed in the 50s or 60s.

Conion CRC-H84F

This Conion has tons of chrome and VERY strong bass. Stronger than the vast majority of 1-piece boomboxes. It's fairly big in size (61 x 30 x 14 cm), and it has 20cm woofers and 5cm tweeters. In Conion's advertising it is described as having 10 watts per channel RMS at 10% distortion. But on the back label it says 2 x 15 watts maximum. Whatever the case, it contains two Toshiba TA7222AP amp chips. It takes 10 D-cell batteries. It has a cool spare tape drawer that can hold 5 cassettes. The tuner is flywheel-weighted, just like the Conion C-100F.

When disassembling this model, be aware that there are 2 small screws in the tape deck that must be removed.
